Update, 15 October 2026

For realm owners

  • Bots waste less time:

    • All bots move on as soon as a target falls, and give up on runners they never catch.
    • Roadmen use Cyclone in a fight, keep Stigma and Star of Accuracy up on themselves, meditate whenever their mana runs short, sit when idle, and take on a guard attacking a guildmate.
    • Water Taoists stand their ground against monsters, strike what their side fights, keep their mana topped up, run clear of their chasers, and revive the fallen from a clear spot, giving enemies standing over them a few seconds to move off.

Wild monsters now leave wild bots alone.

Update, 15 October 2026

Fixed

  • In a guild war, a jump from just outside a shut gate could land inside the fortress. A shut gate now stops every jump that passes through it.
  • Bots no longer all freeze for a few seconds at a time when one of them can't find a way to where it's going. Water Taoist bots now run from danger by a jump onto solid ground, keep close enough to fallen friends to revive them as they run, and sit to recover stamina whenever they're safe.

Update, 15 October 2026

Added

  • LoadoutManagers have Edit current loadout: change the loadout you are wearing without logging out. Allows all the same choices as the website: gear and gems, garment and colours, body, face, rebirth path and attribute points. Each change is made as soon as you finish choosing it. The Beautician in Twin City is gone: its face window opens here instead, and a face change is free.

Fixed

  • Changing the window size or switching to full screen in Options no longer leaves the skills and items on the F-key bar drawn to the left of their slots, over the mana orb.
  • Water Taoist bots revive more than their own guild: a wild one revives other wild bots; a lawful one revives anybody without a blue or black name, and any guild member whose name is not black; a guild's one revives its guildmates and allies whatever their names, and anybody without a blue or black name who is not in an enemy guild. With no mana potions to drink they heal only with the mana their next Meditation gives back and keep the rest for the fallen, so they revive one after another rather than sitting to recover mana for each.
  • Water Taoist bots sit to recover stamina for Meditation among monsters that are not coming for them, rather than standing for as long as any monster is nearby, so they meditate and revive the fallen much sooner while their guild hunts. They still get up and move away from a monster that comes close.

Update, 15 October 2026

This update brings a major overhaul to loadout management, a new fixed-level and fixed-gear system, improvements to Football, smarter guild-war bots, expanded realm-owner tools, and a range of client and graphics improvements.

Loadouts & Character Customisation

Website Loadout Management

Website loadout management has been completely rewritten, with a new interface for creating and editing your characters.

  • Create and edit loadouts on a single page. Choose your rebirth path, gender, body type and equipment, allocate your attribute points, then save everything together.
  • The equipment editor now mirrors the game's Status window. Your character appears in the centre, with equipment slots arranged as they are in-game. Hovering over an item displays the game's usual tooltip. Click an equipment slot to change its item and gems, or click on the garment slot to swap garment styles and colours.

In-game LoadoutManager

The in-game LoadoutManager can now do more than select an existing loadout. It also provides options to edit your character's attributes and appearance.

  • Your loadout determines your starting attributes, appearance, hair and equipment.
  • Changes made to your attributes or appearance in-game last until you log out or switch loadouts, unless you explicitly save them using Save my attributes or Save my appearance at a LoadoutManager.
  • You can still edit loadouts via the website, but cannot edit the one you're currently using. This prevents players from swapping class and equipment in the middle of a fight.
  • Loadout equipment never wears out and cannot be dropped, sold, traded or stored.

Gameplay & Progression

Fixed levels and equipment

Levels and gear are now fixed to the realm settings. There is no ability to level beyond what the realm specifies, or to obtain gear that is better or worse than what your loadouts provide.

  • Experience and levelling have been removed. Everyone plays at the level set by their realm's host for as long as they remain there, with every skill and weapon proficiency already at the highest level that level allows.
  • Equipment progression has been removed. Blacksmiths, Armorers, the Pedlar and all upgrade NPCs are gone, along with the Labyrinth and Moon Box quest. Equipment can no longer be bought or upgraded in the world.
  • The Shopping Mall no longer sells gems, upgrade stones or talismans.
  • Archers' loadouts now include a quiver of arrows that never runs out.
  • The OfflineTG option has been removed from the exit prompt, as there is no experience to train.
  • Experience balls, experience potions, praying stones, and the rebirth, promotion and training NPCs have been removed.
  • Founding a guild and broadcasting no longer require a level.
  • Previously owned equipment has been cleared. Gear, gems and skill books obtained before the fixed-gear system have been removed from bags, equipped slots and warehouses. Loadout equipment, garments, arrows, meteors, dragonballs and potions remain.

Items, drops & combat

  • Monster drops have been standardised across all realms. Monsters now drop only meteors, dragonballs and silver. They no longer drop equipment, gems, potions or quest items, and realm hosts can no longer change drop rates.
  • Mining and Lucky Time have been removed.
  • PvP drops now come from your bag. Where PvP drops are enabled, a red- or black-name player who dies drops something from their bag rather than from their equipped items.
  • Healing and Meditation now report the amount actually restored. Healing someone who is nearly at full health shows only the health they were missing. Healing someone at full health shows 0. Meditation works the same way for mana.

Football

Match improvements

  • Choose between two Football pitches. Starting Football now lets you select Mystic Castle or the new Twin City pitch, laid out on the plain's grass within the city's stone walls. Both pitches have the same dimensions and goals, so gameplay remains the same.
  • The Football ball is now 1.5 times larger, making it easier to see and follow across the pitch.
  • The match event is now officially called Football throughout the game, website and wiki. The GM panel uses Start Football and Cancel Football, and the commands are /football and /cancelfootball.
  • Existing Football map files are moved into place during updates instead of being downloaded again.

Football fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the ball could disappear after you ran away from it and returned. It could remain drawn at its last position while bots continued playing, until someone kicked it.
  • Players who are dead when a Football match starts are now revived as they take the pitch, rather than playing as ghosts unable to attack or use skills.
  • Fixed an issue where players who started a match as ghosts could not be targeted by other players after the match.
  • Reconnecting during a Football match now correctly restores Team attack mode instead of switching back to Capture mode, which prevented players from tackling.
  • The score and time remaining now appear immediately when reconnecting during a match, instead of taking up to ten seconds to appear.
  • When a Football tackle knocks you down, its countdown now uses the game's normal hit-number style rather than plain white digits. Your character remains lying down until the countdown finishes.

Realm Owners & GM Tools

Player management and realm controls

  • New player-management tools are available in the GM panel's Players tab:

    • Who's online
    • Teleport to a player
    • Summon a player
    • Summon everyone
    • Revive and heal everyone
    • Kick a player
    • Broadcast

Summoning works even for players who are flying, trading or in a booth; they remain connected.

  • Grant commands is available in the GM panel's Realm tab. Choose a player and grant permission to use specific commands in your realm, such as those needed to help run an event. Permissions remain until revoked, and players cannot grant these permissions to anyone else.

  • Set day and night is now available in the GM panel's Realm tab. Configure the durations of day, night, dusk and dawn, and choose which period is active. Selecting Night turns the realm dark immediately, at the start of its night. Durations follow the settings on your realm's settings page.

  • Revive wait is now configurable in Advanced rules under Combat → Death. Set the time before a dead player can revive to anywhere from 1 to 60 seconds. Realms that leave the setting unchanged retain the classic 20-second wait. The in-game countdown and "You have to wait" message follow the realm's setting.

  • Realms can now have up to 50 bots, increased from 20 — enough for four guilds of bots in a single Guild War.

  • Bots added with /bot now appear beside you in about one second, rather than taking several seconds.

GM Commands panel

  • The GM Commands panel is now organised into tabs. Realm owners see Events, Spawns, Players and Realm, with commands listed alphabetically.
  • Cancel an event replaces the "Cancel GW" and "Cancel Football" commands, listing the events currently running. For players that prefer the text commands, you can use /cancelevent gw and /cancelevent football as replacements for /cancelgw and /cancelfootball.
  • Remove a bot now lists the bots in your realm so you can choose which one to remove.
  • In Add a bot, guilds and New guild... are grouped under a Guilds heading. Selecting New guild... opens a dedicated page to enter the guild's name. This allows you to create entire guilds of bots to play against in events.
  • /item and /bots have been removed. A realm's equipment is now defined by loadouts, so /item is no longer needed; Remove a bot provides the functionality previously offered by /bots.

Monster spawns

  • Create a monster spawn now supports four multipliers:

    • Monster damage dealt: up to x10
    • Damage monsters take: up to x10
    • Monster walking speed: up to x3
    • Monster attack speed: up to x3

Each multiplier can be set as low as x0.1, allowing you to create everything from unusually weak monsters to powerful bosses.

Bots & guilds

  • Bots can now lead their own guilds. When adding a bot, choose New guild... as its alignment and enter a name. Other bots can join the guild. If its leader is removed, leadership passes to another bot, or the guild is disbanded if no bots remain.
  • A new Water Taoist bot is available: /bot water-taoist. It avoids direct combat, revives fallen guildmates and allies with Pray, uses Stigma on its fighters, heals when nothing else needs its attention, and stocks up on mana boxes at the Pharmacy for Guild Wars.
  • Roadman bots now prioritise enemy Water Taoists during Guild Wars and fight alongside bots from allied guilds as they would their own.
  • Guild-war bots now coordinate as a team. Attackers work together to break a gate, gather and push towards the pole. Defenders watch the gates, engage attackers when they have enough numbers, and fall back to the pole when outnumbered.
  • Roadmen escort their Water Taoists, some bots guard the pole while their team attacks it, defenders hold the walls, and attackers break gates in waves before gathering for a coordinated push.
  • Water Taoists now drink potions rather than leaving fallen allies waiting, and pick up mana potions from the ground.
  • Bots you lead help break gates and attack the pole when there are no enemies to fight. They no longer hop along the walls and move between monsters without repeatedly returning to you.
  • Bots also coordinate when fighting alongside real players. They keep players in sight and gather with them outside the war rather than charging in alone.
  • Every guild's bots now join Guild Wars automatically, regardless of where they are when the war starts. They travel to the war map, including bots added in Twin City and bots whose guild members have all logged off.
  • Bot behaviour has been updated to work together even when nobody from their guild is online.
  • The wiki's Bots page now explains how bots coordinate during Guild Wars, fight independently when their guild has no players online, and accompany players while keeping them in sight.
  • /help bot now clarifies that Water Taoists avoid combat regardless of alignment.

Options, Graphics & Interface

Options window

  • The Options window has been revamped. It includes music, sound, shadows and the KO counter, alongside window size, full screen and frame rate controls.
  • Window size and full screen can be changed without restarting. Press Apply to resize the game, redraw it at the new resolution and adjust the interface to fit.
  • Monster names now have their own setting, separate from player names.
  • Shadows can be disabled entirely.

Graphics settings

  • Choose your character's round shadow. In Options, use the arrow beside Simple to open the shadow selection page. Choose from the game's built-in shadows or select Select file... to use your own DDS, PNG or JPG image. Your choice takes effect immediately and is remembered for next time.
  • Anti-aliasing is now available in Options, with Off, 4x and 8x settings depending on your graphics card.
  • Dynamic Lighting controls whether glowing weapons and spells cast light on the ground and characters, and how many lights can be drawn simultaneously. Untick both settings to disable dynamic lighting entirely.
  • Graphics changes take effect immediately, without restarting the game.

Interface and screenshot fixes

  • Fixed the Exit option in the Options window. It now asks for confirmation, just like pressing Escape.
  • F12 can now take screenshots while the Options window or GM panel is open.
  • Fixed black F12 screenshots when anti-aliasing is disabled.
  • Fixed mouse clicks with RenderScale below 100 in realms-graphics.ini. Buttons now respond where they are drawn, and the GM Commands button is visible again.
  • The RenderScale setting is now preserved when changing window size in Options, rather than being disabled for the rest of the session if a particular size cannot support it.
  • Commands and their keywords are now case-insensitive, so /Broadcast and /removespawn N900 work. /broadcast also preserves the capitalisation of the announcement you type.

Items, Potions & Quality of Life

  • All eight potion boxes are now available at every drugstore. These include Amrita, Panacea, Ginseng and Vanilla, plus RecoveryPill, SoulPill, RefreshingPill and ChantPill packs. They appear at the end of the shop window, after the individual potions.
  • Each potion box contains three potions in a single bag slot.
  • Potion boxes now open when you have three free inventory slots, rather than requiring four.
  • Opening a potion box, MeteorScroll or DBScroll without enough inventory space now displays a message instead of silently doing nothing.
  • Faster PK Arena revives. Players can now revive 5 seconds after becoming a ghost, down from 20 seconds, in every realm. If a realm has a shorter Revive wait setting, that setting takes precedence.
  • Jumping at the moment the game moves your character — such as when a Football match ends or Guild War defenders are moved inside the gates — no longer disconnects you. The jump is cancelled and your character arrives at the intended destination.
  • NPC windows that were open when you disconnected are now closed when you sign back in, rather than remaining on screen.

Client, Launcher & Website

Updates and performance

  • Game updates are smaller and faster. When an update changes the game's large data files, the launcher now rebuilds them using your existing copy and downloads only the new data, rather than downloading the entire file again.
  • The updater can now rename and move files and folders already on your installation instead of downloading them again. Releases that only rename files can therefore patch in seconds.
  • /diagnose performance reports now record which part of the game's code was running several hundred times per second. This helps identify what slows the game down when crowds are on screen. The report preview lists this information alongside the other diagnostic data before you send it.

Website, wiki & update posts

  • Update posts can now include images and videos. Media appears beneath the post on the website and in Discord channels that receive updates. Videos can play directly within Discord.
  • The wiki's Commands page now lists every command and all its arguments.
  • A new Bots page explains how bots behave and how to use them, from building Football teams to running a guild of bots in a Guild War.
  • The website's home page now displays the new GM Commands window.

Update, 8 October 2026

Fixed

  • Conquer Realms now opens while you have another Conquer server's game open. It used to close as soon as it started and open a 91.com sign-out page in your browser. You can also run as many Conquer Realms windows as you like.

Update, 8 October 2026

Added

  • Run a Discord server? Add our bot and use /tickets setup to pick a channel that gets every suggestion or bug report staff open to everyone - nobody needs to link an account to read them, and linked players can vote right there.

Changed

  • Linking your Discord account with /link now turns on messages about both suggestions and bug reports that staff share with you or open to everyone. Untick them on your tickets page, or type /unsubscribe in Discord, to stop.

Update, 7 October 2026

Added

  • Report a bug or suggest something from the new Support section on the website, with screenshots and videos attached, and follow the replies from staff there. Staff can open a suggestion to everyone so you can discuss it and vote with a thumbs up or down - on the site, or from our Discord bot once you link your account with /link and /subscribe.
  • The site has an Updates page with each release's notes and staff announcements, linked from the bar, and an Atom feed for feed readers.
  • Monsters that know a spell now cast it, as they did in the original game: the apes and snakemen of map 1214 cast Thunder, guards their own spell, and the bosses that have one use it.
  • Landing the killing blow on a monster now earns a bonus of 5% of its life in experience, scaled by the colour of its name.
  • Equipment now wears down in a fight, as it did in the original game, and an item at 0 durability gives nothing until it is repaired: for silver, or for five Meteors once it has broken. Kylin gems now raise an item's maximum durability.
  • Futsal: a new event on its own pitch. Everyone plays as a Warrior with a blade and a shield: swing or FastBlade to kick the ball, Dash to kick it hard or tackle a player on the other side, who lies down for five seconds. Lob it over a defender, bounce it off the crossbar, and watch the countdown and GOAL! across your screen; an arrow at the edge points to the ball when it is out of sight. Bots can play too.
  • A Frame rate setting in the launcher, under Resolution, lets you run the game at 30 to 240 frames a second; it starts at 60, up from about 30. Whatever rate you choose, walking, running, jumping and casting keep the same speed, and animations last the same time.
  • Updates can be posted to your own Discord channel: press Add to Discord on the Updates page, follow our announcements channel, or type /updates subscribe in a server that has our bot.

Changed

  • Agility now helps a plain attack or an arrow land, as it did in the original game: every 5 agility adds a point of hit chance, on top of your gear's accuracy and your Fury gems. The target's dodge takes it away again, and a blow at a monster lands far more often than one at a player.
  • Spells and arrows now follow the original game's damage rules. A spell's own power is never resisted, so bosses no longer shrug off magic, while spells hit other players for a little over half what they did; arrows hit monsters about two and a half times as hard and players a little over half as hard. A hit on a monster now always does at least 1, plus a tenth of your level, plus your weapon's quality.
  • Experience from a monster now follows the colour of its name: a red name pays 30% more, a black one 50% to 130% more, and a green one less. Team experience now reaches the team leader too, and is doubled for the killer's spouse rather than for any two unmarried teammates. Violet and Moon gems now raise weapon and skill experience as their descriptions say.
  • Every jump now takes the same time whatever your body and weapon. Women with a shield used to jump a fifth faster than everyone else, and the muscular female body with a bow or a two-handed weapon a fifth slower; changing your look with /look no longer changes how fast you jump either.
  • The launcher now shows the latest post from the updates page while it checks for updates, with a link to read the rest on the website.
  • Add to Discord on the Updates page now adds our bot to your server; then type /updates setup there and pick the channel. Running it again moves the updates, /updates status shows where they go, and /updates stop ends them.
  • Roadman bots are bolder when following you: they chase enemies up to a screen away instead of only fighting what is right beside you, then come back to your side.
  • Guild bots now fight on in a Guild War when the person they follow falls. They scout the gates and tell each other which are open, go in through an open gate or break a shut one, then attack the pole, or guard it if their guild holds it, taking on enemies who come near. A bot that ends up in the jail or Twin City makes its way back to the war.
  • The website's menu bar is now three menus - Play, Learn and Support - so the realms, your character and the download sit together, and help is in one place. Reporting a bug and making a suggestion are now separate pages that each ask their own questions. A new wiki explains how to get started, realms, your character, events and guild war, commands, game time and performance reports, and the performance report page now starts with how to make one.

Fixed

  • The clock at the top left now shows the local time of the region hosting your realm, the same for everyone in it, and no longer runs an hour fast on PCs in daylight saving.
  • Opening a website page that doesn't exist, or isn't yours to see, now shows the site's own Not found page with a way back, instead of the browser's blank error.
  • Summoned guards and other pets now attack with their spells; before, they stood by and did nothing.
  • A worn item now sells for its share of the price rather than nothing, and the arrows you shoot no longer come back to your quiver when you log in again.
  • Meteors and Dragon Balls now upgrade a scepter, and a scepter can be locked, as every other weapon can.
  • An upgrade, refine, socket or enchant whose payment cannot be taken now leaves your item as it was and tells you so, rather than upgrading it and handing the payment back at your next login.
  • Refining equipment from +9 to +12 at the WuxingOven in the Market now keeps the new plus. Before, the refine was lost at your next login, with its DragonBalls or DBScrolls already spent, and the new plus added nothing to your stats until you took the item off and put it back on.
  • Only GMs can switch loadouts with /loadout now. To change your build, talk to a LoadoutManager in Twin City, the Market or the PK Arena - switching there refills your health and mana as before.
  • An NPC trade, quest hand-in or used item whose payment cannot be taken now gives you nothing and tells you so, rather than paying out and handing the payment back at your next login. That covers packing and unpacking DragonBall and Meteor scrolls, CPAdmin, JewelerLau, rebirth, skill books, ExpBalls and the rest.
  • The WuxingOven in the Market now refuses to refine worn or broken equipment until it is repaired, as every other upgrade already does, and takes no DragonBalls or DBScrolls when it refuses. Before, a broken item could be refined, and its new plus still added nothing until the item was repaired.
  • Switching to a loadout with coloured garments now shows its colours straight away; before, the new look could appear for a moment in the garment's plain colours first.
  • The SpeedLightning book now needs level 70 for every Taoist, as it always did for Fire Taoists. Joe in the Desert City now takes the Amrita he asks for. The UnknownMan's teaching now needs the DrunkCelestial wine, even from a modified client. Level-ups, rebirths, body changes, stat resets, gem composing and divorces no longer hold up other players while your character is saved.
  • Typing /rules in a realm with no custom rules no longer says it has no uploaded garments. Garments players upload can be worn in every realm.

Removed

  • The in-game /report command is gone: bug reports now go through Tickets on the website, where you can attach a screenshot and see staff's reply. Reports already sent with /report are there as your tickets.

For realm owners

  • Start Futsal and Cancel Futsal in the GM panel run a futsal match in your realm: invite everyone and draw the sides at random, with or without your realm's bots, or pick the Red and Blue sides yourself, and set how many minutes it lasts.
  • A new Combat setting on the Advanced rules page, Jumps take a fifth less time, as in newer clients, gives your realm the faster jump of later Conquer clients. It is off in a new realm, and turning it on reaches players already in the realm straight away.
  • /item now takes the durability its help promised, as a seventh value, and refuses a plus, bless, socket or durability the game cannot hold rather than making the item anyway.
